Our range of Hot Rolled (HR) Coils & Plates is sourced from Jindal Steel & Power (JSPL), which has a dominating presence in the steel industry. JSPL is known for being the first privately-run organization to install India's first state-of-the-art plate mill that produces plates and coils of widths 5 meters and 3 meters. JSPL later established two steel mills at Raigarh and Angul, set up to produce HR coils and plates of varied specifications.

The plate-cum-coil mill (Steckel mill) with the capacity of 1 MTPA is positioned at Raigarh, Chhattisgarh and produces HR plates of width ranging from 1500 mm to 3500 mm, and of thickness ranging from 8 mm to 120 mm. The mill also produces HR coils that range from 8 mm to 25 mm in thickness, and 1500 mm to 2500 mm in width.

The plate mill located at Angul, Odisha has the capacity of 1.5 MTPA and is also outfitted with latest equipment and technologies like MULPIC cooling, online ultrasound testing, trimming shears, and a slitting unit that produces plates of high strength and fine surface finish. The Angul mill thus produces HR plates that range from 5 mm to 150 mm in thickness, and up to 5000 mm in width.
v Our Plate Mill Plates (PMP) are sourced from Jindal Steel & Power (JSPL) and are of premium quality. The JSPL Group are known for their reliable steel refining facilities and use of clean raw material, thus giving granting their plates and coils the dimensional adherence and internal soundness required in industrial applications.

Besides a wide range of international standards, the plates manufactured by JSPL comply with the IS 2062 specifications up to E450 grades, and also with steel grades defined by EN, DIN, JIS, and ASTM. JSPL's manufacturing mills are recognized and approved by a variety of steel manufacturing societies like the LRS, DNV, ABS, and GL for producers of shipbuilding steel. JSPL steel mills are certified by IBR for the manufacture of boiler grade steel; and hold accreditations like ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004, OSHAS 18001, CE, and ADW-2000.

The PM Plates are manufactured with the latest technologies and are tested on all quality parameters before shipment. This makes them ideal for use in crucial applications like pressure vessels and boilers, shipbuilding, pre-engineered fabricated buildings, general engineering, and structural fabrication. Based on individual client requirements, we supply PM plates in varying lengths and thicknesses.
